Giorgio Bottò, è un'artista italiano contemporaneo nato a Latisana (UD) nel 1961.
L'arte contemporanea emerge dopo un lungo periodo di lavoro al servizio dello Stato, la frequentazione di pittori, musicisti e persone di grande rilievo nel mondo artistico fa riscoprire questa determinazione pittorica, rendendo alcuni elementi tipici nei suoi quadri. I colori vivaci, le tonalità utilizzate esprimono “..luce in un mondo buio dove tutto è difficile e portano allegria”.
Sin dall'infanzia, Giorgio conosciuto dagli amici come Yure, ha mostrato una forte propensione per il disegno, quasi una necessità innata. Il lavoro ha accantonato questo piacere che è stato riscoperto .
In effetti Giorgio, che apprezza la musica e l'arte ritorna a dipingere con un suo stile particolare, più deciso ancora in evoluzione. Ogni quadro è uno stimolo creato da una persona che frequenta.
Ad esempio uno dei quadri "Nini" è stato motivato dalla sua frequentazione con un grande musicista, famoso trombettista che ha suonato per Morricone. In questa opera, ceduta al maestro, ha immaginato Nini Rosso che voleva suonare ancora una volta il silenzio..con una tromba ormai deformata pur di far vivere l'emozione di queste note.
L'artista ha abbandonato il disegno, dipinge partendo da un'idea, personalizzando il quadro alla persona a cui lo dedica e l'opera prende forma.
Nelle sue opere Giorgio dipinge liberamente e spontaneamente, estraneo a regole e vincoli, crea opere viaggiando tra figurativo e l’astratto.

For example, one of the "Nini" paintings was motivated by his acquaintance with a great musician, a famous trumpet player who played for Morricone. In this work, given to the master, he imagined Nini Rosso who wanted to play silence once again ... with a now deformed trumpet in order to bring the emotion of these notes to life.
The artist has abandoned the drawing, paints starting from an idea, personalizing the painting to the person to whom he dedicates it and the work takes shape.
In his works Giorgio paints freely and spontaneously, extraneous to rules and constraints, he creates works traveling between figurative and abstract.
